The Pares Secondary School, situated in the quiet eastern village of Pares on the eastern side of the island of Antigua was established in 1971.

This website was created mainly to assist current students of the Pares Secondary School. However, past students were not forgotten. The site offers access to online lessons in various subject areas. Also provided is access to homework, and help from fellow students. There is a forum which will facilitate discussions on various interests.

Philosophy

Pares Secondary School believes that wherever ignorance abounds there is darkness of reason and thought, and that only the light of true knowledge can dispel such darkness. We believe that each student can be enlightened if given the appropriate learning environment and provided with meaningful learning that will equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to be productive and contributing citizens within a changing society.

The Pares Secondary School endeavours to provide an environment conducive to learning and teaching in which students and teachers are given the opportunity to develop to their full potential, thereby building sound character and positive values.
