Insulators

The opposite of a conductor is an insulator.  An insulator does not allow electricity to pass through it.

Good insulators are glass, plastic and rubber. Most wires are covered with plastic so that people will not get shocked if they touch them.  (ALWAYS be careful around electricity. YOU are a good conductor!)
